She has worked for years to build a network of connections, a breadth of knowledge necessary for production and problem solving, and has developed maintenance and repair skills for various printing, scanning, and camera technologies all while dedicating time to share these skills as an educator.Experienced production and fine artist with a demonstrated history of working on private and collaborative projects. Highly knowledgeable and skilled in photography she has the ability to operate 8x10 and 4x5 large format rail and field cameras, medium format rail kits with a digital back, a wide range of medium format analog and digital cameras, film types, sensor types, free shooting, tethered shooting, and in the field confirmation and backup of digital files. Eileen is a master digital printmaker with an emphasis in color management. Experienced with X-Rite calibration tools, proprietary LaCIE and NEC color management methodologies, linearization, custom building of ICC profiles for a vast array of paper and other substrates, accurate color printing for specified viewing environments, and use of RIP software such as Studio Print and Color Burst. In depth experience with Photoshop, Lightroom, CaptureOne, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere, and Final Cut and RIP software including Studio Print and Color Burst.Eileen has curated shows and performances, produced collaborative work, and has both published and been published in show catalogues and periodicals. She has worked to activate various artist communities by organizing workshops, lectures, and panel discussions within publicly accessible academic and social arts communities. She has taught at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago with the Early College Program and has spent several summers assistant teaching at Ox-Bow School of Art. On site photographic documentation of gallery exhibitions and individual works. Strobe lighting available when available lighting is insufficient for even exposures and full color rendition. Will visit galleries to document individual works as well as interior shots showcasing the layout of the show and how pieces work together within the context of the show. Will visit artist studios to document works individual and in concert with one another. All images are shot with a color checker and processed for accurate and full color. Images are corrected for any perspective or geometric distortion as pertains to the act of photographing works. All blemishes are removed from the wall space surrounding the work. Any blemishes from the background or environment are removed as requested. Images are then processed at both high resolution print quality and web quality images suitable for websites and portfolio submission. Composites, specially requested edits, and glare reduction are all a part of the workflow I employ when working with clients.
