Digital EducationI have worked in digital education for over 20 years and have developed a number of my own digital education projects as well as working as an e -learning strategist and consultant for companies including Intel, Enovation Solutions, EdTech Ventures and eTeachers Global . I’ve used a number of CMS including Ektron Drupal, Joomla, CMSMS and WordPress. I also analyse site performance, user experience and user patterns. I write online and offline copy, information brochures, press releases and set up online customer care forums and information libraries.

I set up and developed 24-7tutorials.com, an educational website providing one-to-one online help in real time for second and third level students. Despite overwhelmingly positive feedback and support for the concept from teachers, parents and the wider business and education community, it was extremely difficult to match the supply of tutors and the demand for tutorials in real time on a global scale and the website was terminated. In 2013, Google launched Helpouts, a similar type service, but discontinued and closed the product in April 2015

The Pre University Centre (PUC) was a private tuition college for Leaving Certificate students.. In 2000, the company sold the college and set up, developed and marketed two of the first e-learning websites in Ireland, the award winning www.leavingcert.net and www.juniorcert.net.and later sold these on to the skoool.ie consortium.
