Chief Executive OfficerIn The City Camps 2011 - PresentAtlanta, Ga, UsIn the City Camps (ITC) is an independent Jewish summer camp that delivers the proven outcomes of overnight camp in an affordable, accessible day camp package.Our innovative program creates lifelong friendships, nurtures personal growth, and inspires a meaningful connection to the Jewish community and Israel for the 90% of Jewish children who do not attend Jewish overnight camp.My responsibilities include:• Establishing and leading an independent Jewish summer camp program. • Guiding a year-round staff of five and a summer staff of 100 team members, which entails modeling, coaching, and instilling expectations of excellence in camp operations and holding team members accountable for working in alignment with educational and community goals.• Allocating and managing a $900K annual budget, including responsibility for marketing, operations, staffing, facilities, transportation, and fundraising• Leveraging strong community partnerships and donor relations to raise $60K to fund 80 need-based camp scholarships in 2021.• Balancing CEO duties with eight weeks of hands-on summer camp leadership due to COVID-related staff shortages, successfully operating in adherence with all safety guidelines and with zero COVID cases. -
