Underhill Children's Therapy is a privately owned and operated counseling practice, serving children and families in the Seattle Area. I primarily see children between 3 and 12 years of age, and employ play therapy as well as conversational interventions.

● Provides Ohio Department of Mental Health (ODMH) Community Psychiatric Supportive Treatment Service (CPST).● Develop and maintain a service relationship with youth and family.● Consult with an ODMH Mental Health Assessment, develops a service/treatment plan.● Provides parents with information on disciplining, behavior management, household management and communication and relationship enhancement when needed; teaches youth social skills.● Provides crisis intervention and mediation as necessary.● Coordinates, makes referrals, or arranges for appropriate community resources when needed, acts as an advocate if necessary.● The Community Mental Health Worker is responsible for coordinating and providing service and support to their assigned clients and families or care givers in the school environment. Provided Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) Therapy interventions to child with Austism Spectrum Disorder. Interventions were provided in the home and under supervision of a qualified ABA Therapist.

● Teaching English words and sounds for comprehension and pronunciation using play, company provided lesson plans, and improvising materials, activities and teaching aids as needed.● Providing care for child in home, picking up from school, taking to doctor appointments and to external activities. ● Position provides fifty percent childcare and fifty percent English language instruction.

● Primarily worked in Cardiff County Council funded playschemes, including afterschool and term-break playschemes, as well as open access community play centres. Worked in a team environment involving 3 – 8 staff members and 20-30 children, depending on location.
