Originally I was responsible for working to a strict timescale to ensure delivery is complete and all shelves are replenished each shift, having a vast knowledge of products to ensure shelves are stocked and that the stock in the back is not depleted. After changing roles I am now responsible for collecting orders for customers online orders within the timeframe. I have gained experience using initiative when making substitutions in customers’ orders to ensure maximum customer satisfaction, asses customers with merchandise/groceries. When required I have assisted other members of staff to complete their orders within the designated timeframe, restocking shelves and returning mis-picked stock to the shelves.

I was responsible for taking orders, serving food and making both alcoholic and nonalcoholic drinks. Further duties included completing cleaning duties in the restaurant to a high standards. I was given the added responsibilities of opening and closing the restaurant myself, being left in charge of the restaurant and training new members of staff. From this job I gained experience handling customer complaints and working in a fast pace environment where I would be responsible for completing multiple tables orders at once.

I was responsible for working on the tills where I was required to deliver friendly customer service and handle any customer quires, including returns. Occasionally I was required to restock shelves and build furniture for display in store. I took on larger responsibilities when asked by my manager, including mapping the store in advance of upcoming sales. From this role I gained experience working under pressure where I was required to deliver excellent customer service to each individual customer while working at a fast pace when busy.

This was a work placement in my final year of academy. I was responsible for creating promotional content for the companies upcoming events in a professional and timely manner. During this placement I was able to develop working relationship with members of staff in a professional environment.

Additionally, I assisted in the set-up, running and take down of a client event. During this placement I gained experience working in a professional environment, working individually to complete a list of tasks each day in a professional and timely manner and developed working relationships with members of staff and clients.
