I am an innovative and socially committed musician who takes inspiration from themes of community and identity in my work. My background as a musician is in brass banding which continues to influence my work as a freelance musician and creative facilitator, primarily within community music settings. I recently completed an MSc in Music Industries at the University of Glasgow where my research focused on the experiences of working class-musicians and class-based exclusion within music careers.
