Principal Duties Include:•Responsible for site based finance activities for Ringaskiddy site including business partner for Manufacturing and Engineering departments.•Responsible for annual product costing activities.•Responsible for coordination, review and presentation of the budget for the site.•Responsible for reconciling key income statement and balance sheet accounts including Fixed Assets.•Liaising with both Internal and External Auditors and ensure all internal controls are adhered to.•Responsible for capital spend within the company and ensuring all budgets are met. Liaising with the Engineering department to track spend on a timely basis.•Engage with site stakeholders in relation to review of month end results, forecasting and budgeting.•Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in Operations Accounting

Principal Duties included:•Preparing and submitting quarterly group reporting schedules, including Income statement and Balance Sheet.•Preparing periodic budget and forecast schedules for submission to Corporate.•Reconciling key income statement and balance sheet accounts including Currency, Royalty, retained earnings and miscellaneous accruals.•Preparing and submitting legal reporting schedules to the tax department in the US.•Responsible for cashflow for the company•Preparing monthly VAT returns and Intrastat.•Liaising with both Internal and External Auditors•Sox Coordinator - Ensuring compliance with Sox requirements, including preparation of test control matrices and test scripts and completion of periodic testing
