Highlights:-Effectively developed funding proposals to support the development of educational programs for family physicians. Government successfully approved and funded these proposals. - Effectively built collaborative partnerships and represented the organization to external stakeholders and members to support the delivery of organizational business and priorities.- Led the development of operational budgets and financial reports and assisted in annual audit including risk assessment consultation, contributing directly to enhance best practices for the organization.

As Assistant Executive Director, I led the education portfolio of the organization, mainly Continuing Professional Development programs, the collaborative care networks and the annual conference. Highlights:- Led the successful implementation and management of the Collaborative Mental Health Network (CMHN), a provincial network of over 500 physicians mentored by psychiatrists and family physicians. Key outcomes included membership growth of 50%, the development of a communications web-portal and the organization and delivery of over 7 CME mental health conferences. - Established the Medical Mentoring for Addictions and Pain (MMAP) network, a provincial network of over 200 physicians mentored by addictions/pain specialists. Key outcomes included double membership numbers within the first year of operations, the development of a communications web-portal and the development of a pain and addictions primer for family physicians in Ontario.- Managed all OCFP’s externally funded educational programs including steering committee support, budget creation and management and final report writing. Overall budgets handled summed up to $2 million.- Implemented a new planning process for the annual conference that included an operations manual, a new design for the conference program, a new online registration system and systematic and effective training of new staff.
