Having branched out into the world of Freelance marketing over the past couple of years, I have gained marketing experience across a range of industries. I have worked as Destination Marketer for Lough Neagh & Its Waterways for over 17 years. I have developed and implemented numerous creative marketing strategies and plans, with outstanding results. In 2016 I was named as one of NI's 'Top 40 under 40' by Business First.In 2014, 2015 & 2016 my project (River to Lough Festival) won an award from the Chartered Institute of Marketing, Ireland Marketing Excellence Awards for 'Marketing with Impact'. I have also picked up numerous other awards for 'Eel Eat' a restaurant week celebrating Lough Neagh Eels. These awards include Best Marketing Campaign at both the NI Year of Food & Drink Awards 2017, and at the NI Tourism Awards 2017I have worked with a vast network of stakeholders from public, private & voluntary sectors, and have good working relationships with various government departments. I have extensive experience of working with various budget sizes, but mostly work with a shoestring budget; I am experienced with obtaining and managing grant funds.
