Ei Mon Kyaw is a scriptwriter and filmmaker from Myanmar. She started her career as script writer in 2016 and later she joined the film and society filmmaking workshop which was organized by FAMU & Wathann Film Festival. Her first short film “Twenty Two” was selected in the Emerging Competition section at Wathann Film Festival 2020 and won the best cinematography award. Her latest short film “Thirty” was officially selected to the Jio MAMI Mumbai Film Festival 2023 for world premiere and then selected to be part of S-Express Myanmar Program to screen around South East Asia film festivals. She tries to write stories related to her personal feelings.
