construction supervisor. Worked on shut downs at Caltex oil refinery,Mossgas GTL project, Saldanha steel, Exxaro namakwa sands,De-beers diamond vessels, Oil rigs viz. Orca,Sedco 709, pride of Angola,Glas dowr FPSO, Polaris, various Technip sub-sea projects etc. About 30 yrs experience in rigging,boilermaking,pipe-fitting, boiler installations. From 2012 to end of 2016 I was responsible for all heavy lifts in the construction of the Ingula power station in KZN working with Voith and Fuji from Japan. Involved in the building of the Monwabisi desalination plant with Proxa for the City of Cape Town.

I was responsible for the erecting of all the rides starting with the junior coaster then took 6 weeks to erect the "cobra " roller coaster working with Vekoma from Holland. Became part of the maintenance team as one of the mechanical supervisors. Worked there for 3 yrs and 7 months went back into construction after taking voluntary retrenchment package.
