I’m a freelance writer running my own Substack site, The Bull’s Eye, and a contributor to the Medium publication Fanfare and other outlets. I also write for the Norwegian culture website Narrative.no, where I focus on film, TV, and pop culture. I’m particularly drawn to sci-fi, fantasy, and fandoms, and I’m passionate about making these genres both accessible and engaging for a wide audience.Being a voter in the Golden Globe Awards is one of the most exciting aspects of my career. It’s a privilege to celebrate the best in storytelling and creativity, and it feels like a meaningful step into a larger part of this world I love so much.My work with the International Federation of Film Critics (FIPRESCI) has been incredibly rewarding, introducing me to films I might never have discovered otherwise. Serving as a juror at various film festivals has broadened my perspective on international cinema and deepened my understanding of storytelling and the complexities of film production.I also consider myself a hobbyist screenwriter—a natural extension of my journalism and a way to reconnect with the production side of the film industry where I started many years ago. I’m always looking to connect with others in the film industry—whether writers, journalists, producers, directors, or actors—who share a passion for storytelling and collaboration.
