• Played a key role in the R&D department by supporting my supervisor's research on biodegradable gloves made from cornstarch. Conducted trial-and-error experiments to determine the correct amount of cornstarch to liquefy when combined with latex.• Re-QC'd and reverted failed systematic latex for reuse in the production line to reduce costs. This involved testing failed materials, analyzing particle size at different microscopic levels, and measuring viscosity. By identifying the root cause, whether particle size or viscosity, I adjusted the material properties accordingly.• Conducted and formulated my glove as part of an experimental project. This involved:1) Developing a formula and testing it in the lab on a small scale.2) Conducting a larger-scale dipping test in the production line, which required coordinating with the production department to book a line for testing.3) Performing post-production QC to ensure the gloves met high-quality standards.• Conducted post-production QC, aging tests, tension testing, and swelling tests to ensure the product met all necessary criteria for commercial use.• As a trainee, effectively communicated with various departments, including production and QC, to achieve my OKRs and daily KPIs.• Demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving skills when QC results failed to meet criteria, allowing for quick resolution and successful project outcomes.
