About Eirin Becker

I work as a hydrogen expert at the German Energy Agency (Dena) supporting the German government in achieving its energy and climate policy objectives. Previous work experience includes working as a public affairs executive at Erste Lesung, where I advised energy and digital tech companies on Nordic, EU and German public affairs. I am half Norwegian, half German, with a master's degree in European Studies and a bachelor's degree in political science. For my Master's thesis on the topic of "Strategic Interpretations of Sustainability," the Delegation of the European Union to Norway awarded me the "MA Thesis Award in European Studies". During my studies, I spent one semester completing an internship at the political department of the Royal Norwegian Embassy in Berlin.
