I have worked in the care sector since 2012 in various roles, but found my true passion in 2015 when I joined Oakland Care's activities team in their Loughton home. Over the years I have gained a vast amount of knowledge and experience in working with older people and those living with dementia and pride myself on my ability to plan, organise and deliver excellence in care home activities. I have been complimented on my leadership and motivational skills many times and thoroughly enjoy bringing out the best in people. I truly am a people person with a lot of experience in giving outstanding customer service and caring not only for my clients, but also my colleagues along the way.I count myself very lucky to say I now get to entertain in multiple homes as a freelance singer and I am currently working on a range of excellent digital resources to aid fellow activities coordinators, carers and anyone else who might need it.
