As a Ph.D. in electronic engineering, I have more than 30 years of experience in optical networking technology, from the system manufacturer side as well as from the service provider side. I have worked on the design, test and evaluation of optical transmission systems, and was also involved on the customer facing side making technical presentations and performing system installations.
