Eleven companies and organizations in the media industry have their offices in the Norwegian Press House. In addition, the house is also a venue for meetings, get-togethers and conversations on media and journalism in Norway. It offers debates, seminars, lectures and courses on journalism and related issues.

International Reporter (IR) is a Norwegian media organization, working to improve and expand Norwegian media coverage of international affairs. It is run on a volunteer basis by the board members.Main tasks and responsibilities include day to day administration of the organization, preparing of board meetings, organizing seminars, updating website and media contact.

I had my second three month internship in this regional broadsheet. In addition to the obligatory work hours, I was hired to work extra shifts during evenings and weekends in this period. I also worked full-time in the newspaper's weekend magazine Pluss between January and March 2006.

I spend the summers of 2003, 2004 and 2005, in addition to several evenings and weekends throughout this period, working for the local newspaper in the town I grew up.
