Eishaan (he/him) is a Consultant Paediatric ENT Surgeon with a clinical interest in airway and ear disorders in children, as well as surgical management of obstructive sleep apnoea and sleep disordered breathing. He completed his medical and surgical training in India in 2015, following which he has further trained in the UK, with dual fellowship training in Paediatric ENT and Otology & Auditory Implants at Evelina London Children’s and Guy’s and St. Thomas’ Hospitals in London from 2019-2021 prior to joining the team at Sheffield Children's. Beyond the clinical sphere, he has a keen interest in service improvement, patient experience, and shared decision making, and is currently the Clinical Governance & Audit Lead and Patient Information Lead for the ENT department, as well as the Outpatient Clinical Lead for Surgery and Critical Care. He is also involved in educational and clinical supervision of the ENT Senior Clinical Fellows as well as ENT and GP trainees in the department.He is a big believer in the integration of medicine and technology and has a budding interest in the applications of artificial intelligence in the healthcare sphere. Outside of work, he’s a self-professed geek and nerd, and spends his free time bringing balance to the Force moonlighting as a Sith Lord alongside Sparkles, his unicorn steed, whilst changing his young Padawan's diapers.
