Dear Friends, Colleagues, Business Partners,Following five challenging years, it is time to say Sayonara Japan. It is not easy to find the words to summarize such an experience but I will try. I am leaving Japan with a feeling of great satisfaction. It is not obvious for a commercial Attaché to experience the impact of his Sisyphus work still while serving his term in a specific position. I see myself as a very lucky man to have seen my visions come to reality. The bilateral relations between Japan and Israel are changing dramatically. Only in the short time of the last half a year, the two countries signed an agreement on Industrial R&D collaboration, the Japanese METI Minister visited Israel for the first time, heading a delegation of officials and Industry representatives, major Japanese international Corporations joint the Israel Chief Scientist Multi-National Program, and much more. I am grateful to feel that I have had the opportunity to be part of these changes and contribute. During these five years, I made many life time Japanese friends. I am taking with me a piece of Japan and in return leaving a piece of my heart in Japan. I have not yet finalized my plans for the future to come. However, I am confident that I will still keep on contributing to the Japan-Israel Bilateral relations as well as to Germany-Israel Bilateral relations. Both are very important to me.When time is right and I will find the path for me to keep going forward, I will make sure to update with my professional Journey developments.
