I am a senior research manager at J-PAL Global at MIT where I conduct my own research and manage researcher pipeline activities, research staff trainings, research resources, and research quality support. I completed my PhD in Public Policy and Political Science at the University of Michigan in August 2022. I am a non-resident fellow at Populi Center in Jakarta and the Ateneo Policy Center at Ateneo de Manila University. My research primarily studies the effects of social accountability initiatives and policy reforms on the quality of political representation and the distribution of public goods in Southeast Asia. I focus in particular on gender and local political participation and primarily use experimental methods (field and survey experiments). My current research projects are in Indonesia, the Philippines, and Vietnam.In 2016, I received a Master's Degree in Law and Diplomacy at the Fletcher School at Tufts University where I studied Comparative Politics and International Negotiation & Conflict Resolution. I graduated from Georgetown University with a B.S. in Foreign Service and honors in the International Politics major in 2012. My work experience includes elections research for The Asia Foundation in Timor-Leste and legislative accountability and electoral reform support for the National Democratic Institute in Cambodia.
