We offer a free and friendly place for all UCC students to come and improve their study skills, writing technique and presentation skills.Through the Skills Centre I provide one to one support in a large variety of legal and business module.

Research Assistant to Principal Investigator Dr Aoife Daly on her European Research Council funded project Youth Climate Justice. The project examines whether we are in a ‘post-paternalist’ time for the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child. The project will analyse the growing trend of youth climate activism and how children are ascertaining their own rights.

Cork life Centre is a voluntary organization offering an alternative learning environment to young people who find themselves outside the mainstream education system.The Centre and its staff offer students 1:1 tuition in Junior and Leaving Cert subjects and support them in their preparation for these State Exams. The approach to education is a holistic one. The value is in the social education of young people as much as on the academic.

The TEJP is based in the Cente for Criminal Justice & Human Rights at the School of Law, Univerity College Cork. The TEJP aims to highlight ongoing levels of discrimination experienced by Travellers in Cork and Kerry. https://www.ucc.ie/en/tejp/As a senior researcher I provided case summaries of human right and equality cases from all Irish Courts, as well as European Courts of Human Rights. UCC FLAC Society Volunteer. As well as organising mock clinics and legal information sessions, UCC FLAC has an active social side, holding charity quizzes and movie screenings on top of their other activities this year. In addition, it arranges careers talks and conferences.

I was delighted to be selected to be part of the ELSA Ireland ELSA Legal Research Group (LRG). I was involved in researching, writing and editing Ireland’s submissions on the topic of ‘Internet Censorship’ and ‘Human Rights and Technology’. I was also chosen to be part of a small group of researchers who together complied and wrote the Comparative Report on Internet Censorship, which combined reports from 47 countries.
