A former primary patent examiner for the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, Enrique W. Enrique has extensive experience in all stages of patent litigation, including investigating potential claims and defenses, evaluating litigation financing, taking discovery, working with experts, preparing for Markman and motion practice, presenting oral argument, and participating in pretrial, trial, and post-trial proceedings. In appeals, Enrique has experience handling all briefing and presenting oral argument at the Federal Circuit. Enrique currently serves on the Mitchell Hamline Patent Law Diversity Advisory Group and is a volunteer with Kids in Need of Defense (KIND). Prior to joining Fabricant LLP, Enrique was an associate at Brown Rudnick LLP and Shearman & Sterling LLP. During law school, Enrique served as a judicial extern to the Honorable Michael J. Davis, Chief Judge of the United States District Court for the District of Minnesota.
