Developed low latency AVoIP matrix switcher controller and network manager including: SQL database management and TCP network protocol for endpoint control and discovery implemented in C, and a NodeJS webserver for user control with HTTP API for ReactNative app. Built for linux system with OTA software updates and uploadable configurations. Developed AV equipment controller and 4K HDMI switcher for Microchip PIC32MZ chip running an embedded webserver. This product was an embedded system implemented in C to satisfy security and reliability requirements in the medical industry. Also developed a ReactNative app for android kiosks/signage displays to be the main UI for the system.

Worked on developing a new SQL-like query engine focused on shallow nested queries. In particular, I implemented a feature integrating user-defined aggregating functions in C++ with our query engine.

Helped run office hours and grade for the undergraduate algorithms course.

Worked on experimental feature for Google Maps which OCRed existing images of restaurant menus, created an parsed data structure for each menu, and used the results to cluster restaurants by cuisine.
