Project management of the design, development, and transfer to volume production of Yieldstar 250 sensor

Project management, in value-added business environment, of a team that develops a complex high-end optical sensor system for lithography machines. Maintain stakeholder involvement within the company and interfaces with major suppliers.

Manage the design, construction, commissioning, leading to operations of the MRO unit telescopes. Involves 5 major vendors in the US and Europe, and numerous in-house developments. Total staff involved at MRO is about 20 engineers and scientists. The telescope will enable the observatory to operate as an interferometer: multiple telescopes acting together as one large telescope.

Overall project management involved developing schedules, budgets, allocated manpower and hiring of the required staff to design and construct the MRO interferometer. A scientific research infrastructure located in New Mexico (US) to provide astronomical data and support space situational awareness.

Project management of the "NOVA ESO VLTI expertise centre on optical interferometry" (NEVEC) in the Netherlands. Goal is to build up expertise in interferometry by conducting studies and by participating in the design and development of the MIDI and PRIMA instruments for the VLTI.

Scientist specialist in electro-optics. Characterization of objects using spectroscopy, hyper spectral imaging, and sensor fusion. Also acted in the role of project manager for several projects.

Worked on spectroscopy of evolved stars in order to understand the circumstellar geometry and chemistry.
