Experience working with and establishing new relationships with businesses and workplaces by providing direct on-site outreach, assistance, and education for businesses within Metro regarding the details of the BRR. Tasks included conducting research, tracking data, interpreting and generating reports, and staff management. Reporting included communicating on findings and data to internal audiences, elected officials, and community stakeholders, as well developing published and electronic materials available to the public.KEY CONTRIBUTIONS• Provided personal notification and assistance with BRR for more than 65% of businesses in targeted municipalities.• 11% of businesses reporting in 2012 implemented recycling due to the BRR and personal outreach efforts.
