Starting as a long-term sub, I moved to a permanent position at Crawford High School as a French and English teacher (later taking on an AVID position as well).Through restorative practices, student-centered curriculum, and digital integration, my classes saw exceptional turnaround within weeks of my involvement. Student participation and scores went up, absences declined, and a variety of learning communities were encouraged to participate.
