Working in a lab that seeks to understand better the anti‑inflammatory and osteogenic properties of the flavonoid hesperidin (derived from citrus fruits) and its impacts on craniofacial regeneration through H&E staining and morphological assessment of bone quantity, PSR staining, collagen maturity quantification via MatLab, and TRAP staining/osteoclast number assessment via statistical analysis

· Shadow orthodontic faculty and residents and attend seminars for orthodontic residents· Sterilize, organize, and provide dental tools to residents; assisted orthodontic staff by using saliva ejector on patients; practice o-tie application on consenting patients·Taught by orthodontic residents terminology, and how to examine patient charts

I work with a dynamic group of students to increase the number of students of color entering the dental profession.
