I am a junior at the Kelley School of Business. My aspirations of becoming a marketing leader stemmed from my leadership role on my sports teams. This position allowed me to develop my collaboration, and leadership skills. My favorite part of practices was when the older players would guide me on how to properly execute a task. When it was my time to fill this role, I jumped at the opportunity and found myself as the role model for many of my younger teammates. My parents raised me to always respect others and their opinions, as well as to treat everyone with kindness. I can utilize this skill to inspire others and become a successful leader. This skill was further developed in my summer job for Benjamin Marcus Homes as I learned to treat customers properly.
