During my year-long road trip of 2019, I saw a lot of places. I explored mountains, deserts, rain forests, and grasslands, all while camping out of my truck. My love of the outdoors grew and I knew I had to somehow combine my experience with technology with my appreciation of nature.I've spent the last few years growing and learning new technical skills to make a career change to the field of GIS. Through specialization courses and personal projects I have gained valuable experience with ArcGIS Pro, ArcMap, and QGIS. I have improved my ability to code with Python, R, SQL, JavaScript, and PHP.
