As an Acquisitions Senior Associate at Space Station Self Storage, a Heitman subsidiary, I am responsible for researching, underwriting, and closing self-storage acquisitions across the UK. I leverage my analytical skills and modeling expertise to evaluate the feasibility and potential returns of each deal, as well as carrying out the due diligence for each deal. In my 1.5+ years in this role, I have successfully closed multiple transactions with an aggregate value of over £50M, contributing to the growth and diversification of the company's portfolio.Prior to joining Space Station, I gained 8+ years of experience in real estate investment management, working with different asset classes, markets, and strategies. I started my career as a Controller at Aki KB Minibodegas, a Calzada Capital Partners Real Estate Operating Company, eventually becoming the company’s Investment Manager. I managed a portfolio of +15 self-storage facilities in Chile and Costa Rica, achieving an average annual NOI growth of 15%. I then moved to Aevitas Property Partners, where I focused on property technology investments, identifying and executing opportunities in the emerging proptech sector. I hold an MBA in Business Administration and Management from UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School and a BA in Administrative Sciences from Universidad Central de Venezuela.
