I’m a recruiting and organizational leader with 17 years of broad experience with startups, mid-size and large complex enterprise organizations. After 10 years as an internal recruiting leader, I founded Monocle Search Group in 2015. We’ve built a successful boutique executive and leadership search firm partnering with such companies as Airbnb, Meta, Snap, WarnerMedia, Procore, Shippo, Faire, Lyft, The Walt Disney Company, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Premera Blue Cross, Zillow and HBO. Throughout our history more than fifty percent of the leaders we’ve hired are from underrepresented groups. We believe having vibrant diverse talent pipelines to be the best way to hire the right person for a company’s talent needs. I’ve led large internal recruiting organizations, managers and individuals supporting 900+ hires annually and managed small agile teams. As well as owning recruitment strategy end-to-end, I’ve built recruiting programs focused on diversity, early talent development, marketing, recruiting operations and leadership rotational programs. While still very hands on as a recruiter, I lead from a high-level strategic perspective yet can easily transition to tactical action. I lead with compassion coupled with accountability. I set clear measurable goals, value metrics & data, create space for people to succeed, to fail, to be creative, and to be vulnerable and support both personal and professional growth. There will always be challenges — that will never change. But we always have the opportunity to influence how we approach our endeavors. Director, Technology Talent AcquisitionThe Walt Disney Company Jul 2013 - Feb 2016Greater Seattle AreaDuring my 9-year tenure I led hiring efforts and built technical teams across the nation for all of Disney’s businesses.In my final role with the Walt Disney Company, as Director of Technology Talent Acquisition, I led the strategy, design and launch of the company’s first ever dedicated technology recruiting organization. This organization led tech recruitment for the company across the U.S. We managed recruitment strategy and hiring of more than 900+ technology professionals annually for all The Walt Disney Company’s Business: ESPN, ABC, Walt Disney Studios, Disney Interactive, Walt Disney Parks and Resorts, Disney Technology Solutions and Services, Disney Consumer Products, Marvel, and Lucas Films.
