Localization Program Manager
Current- Improves localization efficiency and empowers scalability for Meta products and content, including providing solutions and frameworks (process, technical, analytical) that are resilient and adaptable- Orchestrates planning and reporting for a set of major cross-functional working groups in the localization org, building frameworks and guidance for focusing on strategy, assessing business risk, and prioritizing. - Leads cross-functional working group focused on efficiency and scalability, including driving and authoring roadmaps, empowering the team to deliver in a timely manner, providing subject matter expertise on a variety of topics (including technical and metrics related), and supporting in resolution of roadblocks- Identifies and solves business problems with a data-driven approach, including identifying the data necessary and authoring data sets and pipelines.Previous projects-Developed framework for collecting and prioritizing business needs of key stakeholders in a rapidly growing localization org. Partnered closely with engineering teams to influence roadmapping and difficult prioritization decisions. -Provided localization expertise to the Reality Labs (then, AR/VR) organization to empower international launches. Established localization best practices for new workflows while ensuring cohesion with overall internationalization infrastructure.-Partnered with stakeholders to identify best practices for product localization, identify and prioritize both technical and process issues, and continuously sought out and implemented opportunities to optimize workflows.-Provided regional expertise on the Japanese market, in partnership with in-region teams -Provided data-driven insights to the wider localization team on opportunities to efficiently scale.
