* Led the technology initiatives of MyFitnessPal's divestiture from Under Armour, standing up new IT systems and teams, $20M+ of SaaS contracts, and successfully executed a complex split of shared data and services from Under Armour, delivering ahead of schedule with no interruption to users.* Reimagined our data architecture, resulting in a 25% decrease in monthly AWS spend, a reduction in vendors, and a smaller footprint to manage.* Worked with the team on several build vs. buy decisions to eliminate several homegrown services that require significant effort to scale with the new business.

* Lead a team of over 30 engineers across three locations, building tools, services, and mobile SDKs that provide a consistent user experience, builds deeper customer relationships through next-generation CRM, and allows developers to ship code faster and more reliably through a gitops and Cloud Native developer experience.* Led the transformation and consolidation of three homegrown orchestration systems to a single Kubernetes and Cloud Native platform, responsible for over $1B of revenue. This transformation both reduced the cost of operations, leading to predictable cloud spend, and increased developer productivity.* Transformed the way UA works with data by implementing a CDP and cloud data warehouse across the enterprise, integrating user data and providing analytics at real-time speed with the scale of UA's health and fitness community.

Responsible for teams building and operating the services that run the world's largest fitness community. These systems include authentication, authorization, notifications, message busses, and more, with a focus on developer experience and enabling next-generation capabilities for our athletes.

Post-acquisition by IBM, leader of Global Solution Architecture team for IBM's Identity and Access-as-a-Service offering, Cloud Identity Services. In this role, he is responsible for all presales activity once a qualified opportunity is presented, including RFP/RFI responses, technical architecture, and solution sizing and pricing. He stays hands-on by using presales activities as a way to contribute to product roadmap and prototype new use cases for the offering. Major customers of the offering span several industry segments and regulatory stances (HIPAA, PCI, SOX).

Architect and deploy transformative security solutions for clients to the Lighthouse Gateway Cloud. Projects range from 20,000 users through 7+ million. Hands-on with customers and engineers, leading presentations and solution workshops, and working with project managers to deliver on time and under budget.Lead groups of integration engineers to implement security solutions on the Lighthouse Gateway platform. Hands-on coding, integration, deployment, and operational management of each solution.Lead groups across the organization to transform our customer-facing applications. Highlights include a new authentication system built on Spring Boot using Spring Data, Hibernate, Jetty, and Redis; a Redis-based token service; REST API access to administrative and user management functions; and plugins to IBM products to integrate with these systems.Develop strategies and patterns for future deployments used by the rest of the Gateway Services team. Feed requirements and design input directly to the Gateway DevOps team for customer-focused changes to the product and operational procedures.Provide thought leadership in process and tools.
