Multi-lingual M&E advisor and project manager with 10+ years of experience from the Inter-American Development Bank, the World Bank, NGOs, and private sector firms in multiple countries, both leading and supporting successful projects. My main areas of work have always been infrastructure and social inclusion, and often the intersection of the two. I work to ensure that women and girls, persons with disabilities, and representatives from other vulnerable groups not only have equal access, but that their unique circumstances and needs are taken into consideration in every step of the project cycle. My work is grounded in the rights-based approach, and I am equally focused on and passionate about project management and monitoring, evaluation, research and learning.I am particularly invested in the empowerment and inclusion of Deaf children and adults across the world. I have strong inter-cultural skills, which along with my language skills allow me to successfully navigate the international development world. I am, among other things, the only Norwegian to graduate as an Argentine Sign Language - Spanish interpreter.
