Multi-omics analysis of healthy and malignantly transformed human tissues with strong focus on method development for profiling of immune cells by single cell analysis methods, including imaging analysis of tissue sections

Research lab Dr. Thomas Boehm, Research topic “Evolutionary analysis of immune-related genes”- Search for orthologues of human immune-related proteins in the lamprey de novo assembled genome and transcriptome- Bioinformatics analysis of obtained sequences using Galaxy platform or self-written scripts in python or awk.

Defended my doctoral thesis titled “Role of transcription factor Eomesodermin in CD4+ T cells” in 2015, with the mark 1.0, magna cum laude. Published the results in the Journal of Immunology, November 2015.During my PhD, I was a PhD representative (2012-2013), took part in the organisation of a PhD retreat. Supervised of a summer student and trainee technicians.

I was responsible for the administration of the potential kidney recipient list, including HLA genotyping and anti-HLA antibody screening for the kidney donor and recipient matching, alongside with the implementation and maintenance of kidney transplantation database

HLA genotyping for Chelyabinsk Regional Stem Cell Donor Registry.Participation in the main research project of the lab: “Immunogenetics characterization of the major ethnic groups of the South Urals”. This work was published in the International Journal of Immunogenetics in October 2012.

Independent work in HLA genotyping laboratory. Performed the genotyping for stem cell transplantation donor/recipient pairs. Gained skills of automated purification of DNA or using robot and state-of-art gel imaging systems.
