(1) Understand key objectives, initiatives, challenges, and timelines from the client.(2) Assess Enterprise IT environment and provide recommendations, gap analysis, design solutions, and project planning to deliver performance enhancements, process improvements, and other upgrades.(3) Create design and other instructional documentation for proposed solutions and implemented systems.(4) Develop baseline standards based on applicable best practices in collaboration with IT leadership and applicable system administrators.(5) Deploy and stabilize third party Enterprise solutions, as well as provide knowledge transfer and support to the client for optimal transition of solution custody.(6) Provide security enhancements to the Enterprise computing environment, application hardening, critical infrastructure monitoring and logging, and risk mitigation against the potential breach sensitive data.

(1) Provide tactical and strategic infrastructure direction for Enterprise server and storage architecture, virtualization, security architecture, VoIP telephony, and network (LAN, Wireless, WAN, Internet, and DMVPN).(2) Strengthen and manage Enterprise security posture through policy revision and development, implementing a layered security approach, and developing reporting a toolset to demonstrate ROI to senior leadership.(3) Implement performance management suite to enable continuous improvement of systems through event monitoring and performance management for Enterprise Tier 1 applications, network, server, and storage infrastructure.(4) Plan, negotiate and execute Enterprise agreements (e.g software licensing, network, Cloud services, imaging solutions, etc.) with strategic partners.(5) Develop, plan and implement server and services consolidation efforts to better leverage IT infrastructure assets.(6) Strengthen and manage Enterprise disaster recovery plan.(7) Collaborate with and brief CIO on challenges and opportunities to further enable business units to be more efficient and productive at less capital expense.(8) Manage workload of team members on projects, tactical operations and end user support

(1) Architect infrastructure and solutions for Enterprise use based on leadership objectives/initiatives, requirements, and budget.(2) Develop and implement virtualization strategies for server and storage consolidation, reduction and security of organizational endpoint assets, and management of Enterprise systems, applications, and core infrastructure.(3) Document implementation of Enterprise systems, business continuity and disaster recovery plans for IT operations, change management and auditing purposes.(4) Conduct client and server system forensics and security auditing at the request of senior leadership and/or campus law enforcement.(5) Negotiate and manage Enterprise service agreements for hardware and software use.(6) Assist senior leadership in developing and enhancing IT policies and procedures.(7) Train team members in implemented and associated technologies to ensure no administrative single point of failure, as well as provide access to professional enhancement opportunities.
