The OnSiteRx system combines an automated drug-dispensing machine with Web-based software that allows physicians, nurses and pharmacists to order prescriptions, check for side effects and deliver the medication to nursing home residents in minutes. The OnSiteRx Automatic Dispensing System dispenses each resident’s drug, seals them in plastic and prints the patient’s name and prescription information on the packet which helps to reduce costs, increase productivity, improving accuracy and patient’s safety. The system uses OnSiteRx dispensing system (ODS), pharmacy system (OPS) and Reporting system (ORC) which are installed at different facilities and pharmacies.
