I graduated from Cross River University of Technology, with Second Class Honours (Upper Division) in Biology, specializing in Genetics and Biotechnology. I am proud of my dedication and commitment to achieving academic excellence.PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:- I gained valuable experience working as a support and research assistant at Raw Materials Research and Development Council (RMRDC) Abuja.- I Completed a 6-month internship at National Hospital Abuja (NHA), gaining practical skills in specimen collection for experiments and tests.MY JOURNEY INTO CYBERSECURITY:- In November 2022, I decided to fully commit to cybersecurity. I applied for the CyberSafe Foundation's CyberGirls fellowship, underwent a rigorous 3+ months selection process, and was accepted in February 2023.- At the end of our Prerequisite training, I achieved the 2nd overall best position among over 600+ fellows from 22 African countries.- I earned numerous certifications, including Network Basics, Networking Devices & Initial Configuration, Network Defense, Identity & Access Management (IAM), Cyber Threat Management, Windows Operating System, CompTIA Linux+, ITIL4, Endpoint Security.- On the 18th of November 2023, I graduated as the 2nd best Fellow in my Career Path (Incident Response/SOC) and earned the Incident Response, Windows Registry Forensics and ISC² Certified in Cybersecurity Certifications.- In December 2023 - June 2024, I participated in the SANS Cyber Talent Academy as one of the 50 selected persons from 1000 applicants.- In July - August 2024, I Interned as one of the top 5/1000 applicants for the paid internship @Digissllc.- Now working as a SOC Analyst at Oxygen X.CURRENT FOCUS:- Pursuing excellence in Incident Response and I'll continue to build my Career as a SOC Analyst with the goal of becoming a SOC Manager.- I recently obtained the Blue Team Level 1 (BTL1 -Gold Coin) and GIAC GFACT Certifications.SKILLS:Building expertise in various cybersecurity tools and frameworks, including Splunk, AWS, Sumo Logic, JumpCloud, CrowdStrike, SentinelOne, Maltego, Autopsy, VirusTotal, Wireshark, MITRE ATT&CK framework, Linux and Windows OS, Identity and Access Management (IAM), EDR, DLP, Microsoft Sentinel, CyberChef, etc.MY CONTRIBUTIONS TO THE COMMUNITY:- I initiated the CC Champions Community(C4), now in partnership with ISC2 to empower cybersecurity enthusiasts globally with free training to launch their careers with the ISC2 CC Certification. - I share valuable cyber-related knowledge through my LinkedIn Newsletter, Posts and Medium blog.
