My consulting practice has evolved over the past few years. I began with a focus in outsourced accounting work but soon learned that my passion was in corporate governance and transactional consulting. My firm, SIDE LLC, is in the process of transition from the detailed day-to-day work of running a company to helping companies through transitions, assisting with complex projects, and providing a relatively unique approach to sell-side business transactions. I believe there is great value in bridging Company management and investment bankers, accountants, and lawyers during the transaction process. I believe that deals work more effectively with streamlined communication, data, and deal room workflow. I also believe that nimble, low overhead service providers offer true cost savings in the sell-side diligence process.

In my role with LBMC, I work alongside the Partner-in-charge to manage and lead the private equity audit practice for LBMC. We work mainly with top-tier fund administrators and investment managers to deliver an effective high-value audit product. We communicate effectively, meet deadlines and offer a no-nonsense approach to Fund Audits under FASB’s ASC 946.
