Recruitment Coordinator
Bristol, England, United Kingdom
As of June 2021, I switched to a permanent contract following a year on a zero-hour contract to adapt to the needs of my dissertation.During my placement year, I worked as a part of a team to help curate and implement graduate recruitment. My focus was on meeting client targets and expectations whilst providing a positive candidate experience. I was required to communicate with various stakeholders face to face, over the phone and via email. Whilst working full-time, I also organised monthly employee recognition ceremonies. My duties included finding and supporting volunteer hosts, collecting recognition, setting up and clearing the presentations on the day, producing office communications regarding the ceremonies and coordinating with the other company cultural committees to provide a consistent message.During my time in the Awards team, I headed the collection of feedback and the implementation of streamlined processes to increase the positive impact and decrease the time needed away from clients. Due to COVID-19, our ceremonies were taken online, where I was able to maintain continuity. Through Microsoft Teams, Yammer and e-mail I was able to maintain awareness and increase recognition. The celebrations were done via Zoom with similar engagement through audience participation.
