I am a graduate of The University of Adelaide, with a double Bachelor's degree in Media and Arts, majoring in English and minoring in Classics. I am very passionate about uplifting emerging and independent artists. I mainly do this through my radio programs on BBBfm and Atomic Music, but I also support local productions with The Adelaide Show, and various other arts industries with my online articles at ArtsHub. I also work for Atomic Music promoting music for independent artists, writing blog posts and creating social media content.Currently, I volunteer my time at my local community radio station, BBBfm 89.1, and the Barossa Film Club. In 2023, I joined the latter as their social media coordinator and events promoter to help with their second Youth Short Film Competition. As a part of the film club I organised and ran various Youth Film Workshops alongside local film-maker Anthony Frith.Through my music connections, and after my stint as a Photographer for the local newspaper, I have taken a few roles as a gig photographer. Mostly at the No Quiet Festival and Barossa Valley Drum and Bass Events.I'm also navigating my way into the Screen Industry, with six no/low budget shorts under my belt as of 2024, mostly in the role of Cinematographer. Film accolades currently include:'Flowers in the Dirt' (2023) was shortlisted for People's Choice Award for UNDEREXPOSED 2024, 'The Getaway Driver' (2022) won the Barossa Youth Short Film Competition 2022 and was featured in TRILOGY FILM FEST 2023, 'Time's Up' (2023) was a finalist for All the Technical Categories in the Bestlov Film Festival April 2024. In 2022 I participated in the SA Talent Camp Initiative with AFTRS and Carclew's week-long hothouse intensive, DevFest. I was one of the 2021 recipients of The John Harvey Finlayson Prize for Creative Writing and a 2021 Barossa Young Ambassador for the Barossa Vintage Festival.
