Edwin is a seasoned Change Management & Business Development Executive, Sustainability Professional and President of ecolibrium strategies, a management consulting firm that focuses on helping clients integrate Sustainability into their business processes, real estate operations and corporate strategies. Previous to founding ecolibrium, Ed was with Pinchin, a leading Environmental & Technical Services firm in Canada and led their national consulting practice in Sustainability and Building Sciences. Prior to that, Ed was Vice President of Energy & Sustainability with Brookfield Johnson Controls (formerly BLJC), helping their clients reduce the environmental footprint of their collective real estate portfolio of over 100 million square feet. Previously, Ed held several progressing Operational, Engineering, and Business Development leadership roles within his 16 year career with Honeywell in their Intelligent Building and Energy Performance businesses.Edwin was recognized by the CaGBC for Volunteer Leadership for his work as chair of the Adaptation Task Force for the LEED EB:O&M Canada Rating System. He is currently sits on the LEED Steering Committee and has been active on committees for organizations including BOMA, Ontario Hospital Association, Building Commissioning Association and International Association of Sustainability Professionals.He is also a volunteer Canadian presenters for The Climate Project Canada, a non-profit organization of dedicated volunteers personally trained by former US Vice President and Nobel Laureate Al Gore to educate the public about the science and impacts of climate change as well as potential adaptation and mitigation solutions.Edwin is a Professional Engineer and holds a degree in Electrical Engineering from Queen’s University and a MBA from the University of Western Ontario.
