We continually strive to build a strong community bond between Growing Vermont, small business and the larger Vermont community.Growing Vermont aims to contribute to sustainable, community-based economic development in the state of Vermont through educational partnerships between UVM students and Vermont entrepreneurs.I began working with the organization as a clerk where my duties included customer service, invoicing, taking inventory and making sales. I became more involved as I took on responsibilities as a leader in the marketing and public relations committee. My duties included advertising, event planning and creative outreach. Additionally, I was a member of the Product Advisory committee which served to interview potential vendors and reach consensus as to the products the organization would highlight within the store.
