Leading the data science team for the Board of Inspectors in Isbank. Also as an IT Auditor, leading IT audits occasionally. Main activities and responsibilities include:- Leading the data science team within the Board of Inspectors, managing analytical projects from initiation to implementation- Providing analytical support for audits, investigations and reports to the legal and regulatory authorities on an as-needed basis- Presenting results of analysis in regular meetings with managers and high-level executives- Working in collaboration with other audit teams and departments to design, develop and support analytical models to measure operational risks- Head of the "Data Scientist Development Program", aimed to educate new recruits on Python, SQL, data science and statistics- Designing, developing and supporting automated tools to provide refined data and analysis for IS and Financial audits and investigationsLed the project of the Human Resources Risk Matrix, a model that periodically assigns a risk score to every employee according to their transactions as customers of the bank. Designed and developed the model and currently supervising the support services and updates performed by the data science team. Since 2018, the Board of Inspectors uses only this model for internal fraud detection, employee related audits and investigations. This project, combined with several other applications developed for analysis, decreased the required workforce for internal fraud detection by 80 percent while increasing the effectiveness of related investigations.As an IT Auditor, highly trained and certified in information systems and security related topics, have been in charge of special projects for COVID-19 outbreak such as:- Organizing remote working infrastructure and related information security standards for the Board of Inspectors during the outbreak- Developing models and scenarios for risks originated from outbreak and remote working conditions
