I wrote Whole Life and Term policies, cold call prospective client and warm lead referrals. Focused on building and maintaining relationships. Confer with clients to obtain and provide information when claims are made on a policy. Contact underwriter and submit forms to obtain binder coverage. I customize insurance programs to suit individual customers, often covering a variety of risks. I also develop marketing strategies to compete with other individuals or companies who sell insurance. I ensured that policy requirements were fulfilled, including any necessary medical examinations and the completion of appropriate forms. I explained features, advantages and disadvantages of various policies to promote the sale of insurance plans, while also compiling coverage and rating information for clients through adequate product knowledge

While at PepsiCo I was responsible for analyzing deduction activities and reconciling trade spending. I was tasked with making sure customers were following specific Pay For Performance guidelines and Go-To-Market customer plans developed by the PepsiCo sales team. Provided analytical insights expertise to both field & finance personnel as well as help drive efficiencies. As a vendor at food expos for west coast accounts, I helped the sales team achieve goals of over $1MM in new product orders for 2 consecutive years. Responsible for the successful recovery of $100K in trade-related chargebacks. Worked closely with sales to enforce trade settlement policies.
