We have succesfully finished big and comlex project for upgrade of Microsoft Mediaroom ( IPTV platform) More than 20 database clusters have been reinstalled from scratch.2. Now we provide DBA support for international site (databases with global scope of service within holding )3. Database consolidation cluster (several hundreds of different databases) was migrated to new HW platform. 4. And we have nearly implemented new Dr solution based on MS SQL2012 AlwaysOn technology

Senior Database Administrator in international distributed DBA team .. Support for mission critical MS SQL databases located in Moscow and London. Responsibilities : daily support, availability monitoring, performace investigations, troubleshooting, upgrades, migrations etc. Some achivements at that position:1) Global BCP test was undertaken in Moscow 20.08.2011 I took noticeable part in prepairing environment, discussing with BA teams, scripts writing, and providing DBA support while exercise. Whole BCP test was acknowledge as very successfull by top IT management and I was in official commedation list.2) Performance problems with mission critical equity trading database have been successfully narroved down and solved under my supervision and participation. There were indexes and maintenance changes, database soft upgrade and migration to new hardware3) Inventory information collection task was completed. Scripts to collect lot of inventory information in relation to databases were developed and implemented

Working in Database Administering Department my responsibilities list is as following:1) Managing 200+ SQL servers (SQL2000 - SQL2008) which have databases up to 10 terabytes in size.2) Disaster Recovery and high availability solutions based on clusters and database mirroring.3) Performance tuning, problem's localization.4) Interaction with MS Support5) Internal support center for various development groups and application administrators6) I have my own developments for automatization of DBA tasks, backup scripts generation and so on ....7) Planning wokload for our junior DBA's8) Database consolidation on cluster implementation(Databases considered as service for applications)
