I am a scholar/practitioner with over 20 years of experience developing and implementing programs and services using a model of socially responsible economic development and inter-generational wealth creation. My passion is to produce empirical work with practical solutions and policy recommendations that positively impact the quality of life of individuals and families from socially and economically marginalized communities.As a scholar, my research interests include entrepreneurial motivation and the socio-political factors that influence business growth and economic development, particularly among marginalized populations. I implement quantitative and qualitative methods to explore and explain the nuances of entrepreneurial phenomena pertaining to racial and ethnic minorities, immigrant and refugee populations, and individuals who are traditionally excluded from socioeconomic participation.
