For the past three years, I've been developing a tool for single cell analysis. The tool enables analyzing the genetic material of 100,000 cells in parallel. This approach is highly relevant to personalized medicine, and cancer treatment in particular as it enables clinicians to explore the fine details of each thier patients tumor and consequently giving each of them the best possible treatment. The project was sponsored by the Ministry of Economy and Industry. Before that, I have been working at Technion Physics Department in a small group developing a new biomedical device. The project is sponsored by Bio-Rad laboratories. I am also Ph.D. student, expecting to complete the degree on March 2017.During the course of my work, I gained experience in a number of fields. These include molecular biology, protein separations, ion exchange and bipolar membranes, cell culture, microscopy, electronics, electrochemistry, data analysis, and numerical simulations. I am also a co-inventor of a number of patents.I am most interested in biomedical systems R&D.
