Hello! I'm Elad Kirson, a CISSP-certified Senior Information Security Project Manager with over 20 years of hands-on experience in IT Security and Cyber Defense. Currently, I serve as the Head of Cyber & IT Risk Management at the First International Bank of Israel and am also the Founder and Executive Producer at The EOK Project Record Label.Over my professional journey, I have worn multiple hats. At Comsec, I managed high-stake accounts in various sectors including banking, insurance, and telecommunications. I was entrusted with the role of acting CISO for several SMB Banks for 6 years, cementing my expertise in cybersecurity governance.From 2013 to 2015, I played a pivotal role at the Israel Airport Authority, where I led complex projects involving planning and management of various aspects of information security. My responsibilities extended to creating RFI's, RFP’s, and managing external suppliers—a true testament to my multitasking abilities.In October 2015, I joined the Cyber Defense Unit at the Bank of Israel's Banking Supervision Department. Here, my work involved everything from guiding and permitting to managing ad hoc work teams with the banking sector. I was instrumental in shaping new cloud and cyber supply chain directives, and ensuring 24/7 availability for handling cyber events in the banking system.In September 2020, I joined the First International Bank of Israel, as head of Cyber & IT Risk in the Operational Risk Unit with in the Risk management Division. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Business Management specializing in IT & Finance and have been CISSP certified since 2008. My academic pursuits also led me to teach courses at the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology, further enhancing my knowledge sharing capabilities.What sets me apart is my in-depth understanding of Israeli information security regulations like BoI 357, 361, Cloud computing Directives, The Privacy Act, and PCI:DSS. I am detail-oriented, service-driven, and possess excellent interpersonal skills. My capability in project management and real-time troubleshooting has been tried and tested time and again.
