After three years working for the City of Fall River, I noticed a high demand for skilled communications professionals in the area. FABRIC Arts Festival is a two-week multimedia art festival showcasing contemporary Portuguese art and culture. Programming includes experiential culinary pop-up events, exhibitions, film screenings and musical performances.I lead community engagement efforts, participated in fundraising activities and provided production support over the duration of the festival.

In this role, I:- Managed all communications, marketing and media relations strategy for Mayor Paul Coogan and the City of Fall River- Modernized government communications through a municipal rebranding campaign and expansion of the City's social media presence- Planned, promoted and executed dozens of events- including the City's annual Fourth of July celebration (attendance of approx. 10,000)- Revitalized community engagement initiatives following the COVID-19 pandemic, serving as liaison to a number of coalitions, organizations, and neighborhood associations- Supported Fall River's growing Arts & Culture movement and participated in economic development efforts with MassDevelopment- Collaborated closely with state and federal elected officials and worked closely with City leadership to create a government that works for Fall Riverr esidents
